Whitney down on the farm

If you read the title to the tune of the Bob Evans theme song, you are my new best friend!

This past weekend I went on a preview tour of Piney Acres Farm in Fortville. I believe this was my first time on a farm and it wasn’t bad. I’m definitely a city girl, but if I had Piney Acres  in my backyard, I wouldn’t be mad.

I’m so glad I got to bring the fam to this because this is definitely the place for that.  There’s a pumpkin patch, playground, mining area, hayrides, mazes and so much more. Seriously, you can spend at least three hours enjoying activities.

My daughter is at the stage where bouncing is her jam, so the inflatable bouncing area was a huge hit.  And because she’s still little, my husband and I were able to bounce with her. I’m not sure who had more fun, her or us!

We took a hayride and that’s where we got to see the entire grounds. This place is a lot larger than I thought. In addition to welcoming guests to fall festivities, in the winter the farm is full of people searching for Christmas trees. If you want a live tree, this is the place to go! I had my eye on several that could make the cut in my home.

I loved that there is something for everyone there. The farm will officially open on September 24 and because they were so awesome to us, I’m giving away a pass for a family of 4 to enjoy a hayride. Just enter below!
