Styling with Just For Me

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Just For Me. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Aside from the fashions, one of the upsides to having a daughter is doing their hair. However, if you’re style challenged like me, you need all the help you can get doing hair. From birth my daughter has had a head full of hair and it just keeps growing. We’re getting closer to her being able to wear bows and barrettes soon and I can’t wait. I love seeing little girls with their hair all braided with tons of ribbons, bows, etc. gracing their crown.

For the style challenged moms like me, I suggest you do like I did and find some great styling products. Right now I’m jonesing on Just For Me’s hair milk line. I’ve already told you about how it the shampoo and detanglers worked wonders on my daughters coily/curly mane.

This time I used their styling products on her hair. I’m still putting her hair in a puff for now, but with the way her textures (yes, she already has more than one) are I need something to help keep things in place.

Enter the smoothing edges. Loved it because number one it’s alcohol-free, which means it won’t dry out her hair and it provides medium-hold with added shine. It’s perfect for taming her baby hairs and flyaways. Just what I need.

A small dab will do the trick as I used it to slick up her edges before brushing them down to pull her hair up in her signature puff.  After I get it into a puff, I added the curl perfecter. Let me tell you, I’ve been looking for a product like this for her hair for a month now.

The thick cream helped stretch her coils elongating them and defining them even more. However, beware that a dime sized amount is all you really need. You know how us naturals like to go overboard with products; a dime size to us is more like quarter size, but I digress.

Her curls were popping! Also, did I mention her hair smells yummy? Any who, if you want to see how it works on your little ones hair, go check out Just For Me hair milk collection at Walmart. It retails for around $5, which is a steal for a natural hair product.

Also, don’t forget to try the #5FingerChallenge with your little ones hair. Just use the products and show Just For Me how great they worked because you can run your ‘five fingers’ through their hair with ease. Use the hashtag on social media to show your child’s #happyhairtime.
