Review: Dove Advanced Care Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Dove. I received a product sample and promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Not too long ago I told you I was going to be trying  Dove’s Advanced Care Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant. Well, I’ve tried it and I like it!

This is not my first time using Dove deodorant, but it was my first time for the advanced care line.  First, I want to talk about how it smells so good. Like really good. You know how some deodorants for women have a floral or sporty smell? Dove’s smells clean. Like fresh out of the shower clean. There were days I let it act as my perfume because that’s how great the smell is.

Another thing- which is super important as we head into the hot sticky months- is it keeps you dry for 48-hours. I can attest to this as a new mom. I’m constantly on my toes with the baby and even though I may be covered in spit-up, at least I’m not wet under my arms.

The one downside I noticed was that while I was dry, I smelled a bit tart. Clearly, the deodorant part doesn’t last 48-hours, so a reapply might be necessary.

You know what else is cool about the deodorant? It has NutriumMoisture- ingredients that moisturize the skin- which ultimately gives you smooth pits. And with tank top weather approaching who wouldn’t want that?

I’m glad I had the opportunity to try this because I’m sure I’ll be gravitating toward it when my stick runs out! I need that smell in my life always!

I suggest you go to your nearest store and buy it and if you love it, tell Dove for a chance to win a trip for 2 to Paris.

Dove is pretty good. I use Old Spice. I can’t use the natural stuff. I’ve tried a bunch, and they generally leave me stinky and wet. I’m sticking with Old Spice for now. I know it’s chemical, unfortunately.
